After three years of producing a weekly TV show in his hometown Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia and graduating (MFA) from the Georgian State Academy of Arts, George migrated to Sydney, Australia. In Sydney he earned a degree in film and TV production, worked at SBS TV as a stage manager and as an independent writer/director followed by another migration to Los Angeles, USA.

Moving around the world and adopting different cultures earned George his unique vision as a filmmaker, and a strange accent. George short films have screened over 80 film festivals around the world and received awards for best screenplay and best direction as well as for best film in competition. In recent years George has been focusing on writing feature films and co-­producing TV shows for Shanghai Media Group. Currently George is in a pre-production of his first feature film which he co-wrote and will be shooting in his native Georgia.
